Jimmy's been "livin la vida low carb" for eight years and he's still obese. He needs to go high carb vegan.

Jimmy has lost 60 pounds since that video was shot, and he's 160 pounds below his peak weight. I'd say it's working.

This is not meant as an attack, but I was hoping someone could fill me in. I noticed in the video that Jimmy Moore seems to have gained quite a bit of weight back. What happened?

Yes, Jimmy got back up over 300 for awhile. He found out (with a ketone meter) that he needed to eat more fat and less protein to stay in ketosis. He's done that and has been losing weight again.

Was he gaining weight still doing low carb? That is good to hear that he is losing weight again.

Yes, he was still low-carb, he tried going low-calorie along with it, but kept regaining. Once you've been obese, your body fights to stay there. It will always be a battle for Jimmy to keep the weight off, but now that he can measure his ketones and adjust to stay in ketosis, he's more likely to win the battle.
