WHat is so hard to understand about "I lack a belief in a god?" That is one dumb christian. If any of you watching are Christians, I would get rid of people like him. They make you look bad. Unless you are as ignorant as him.

It was explained to me that simply saying
"I do not believe in god."
can - in the philosophical circuit semantically be twisted around to mean
that you accept the existence of god(s), but just dont "believe" in them.
Thus making it absolutely clear that you "lack a believe" in gods takes care of this problem.
Also I think I am preaching to the choir here, right?

A little kid has never heard the word god, or any translation/equivalent.... he's never thought of a being with any abilities beyond human capability... It's safe to say that this child is an atheist, right?... now.. some people show up, explain what god is, his powers, etc.... he still doesn't believe in god... but by your logic, he is no longer an atheist?... Knowing what you don't believe in is not acknowledgment of existence.
