P2ers if you feel that you are too sensitive to oil you may not want to try this. It has been my experience that the benefits of MCT enhances releases when on HCG.

  • has anyone had any nausea with the MCT oil?...everytime I make the salad dressing Im nauseaus for a few hrs...can anyone tell me why or am I the only one with this problem and I should just suck it up and eal with it...my losses are so much better the 3 times I have eaten it...what to do?...

  • @mollytev - have you tried taking digestive enzymes? - I think that could help a LOT in many ways!

  • @mollytev - I bought some for my daughter from swanson vitamins. It is an online company - very affordable.

  • I love this dressing also. I use a little lemon juice instead of MTC.

  • Grear tips as always Colleen! I think Im going to do sime vaeuation of your dressing and Hebby' dressing. I love blue cheese too! But its good for us! Just not on P2:-)

  • @amym1979 - HI!!!! - You know I don't. There are so many benefits to the oil and it has never caused a stall or gain so I don't omit any other calories. At the same time I must say that I don't do the bread sticks at all and sometimes don't get all my fruit portions in so that might be the "less" cal. that makes the difference. I'm so glad you like it and that it has helped! =)

  • Looove this salad ! Just one question.The oil has 100 cal did you subtract that from the 500? Or not count those ? Thanks

  • I am obsessed with blue cheese too! Can't wait to get back into P3 so I can have it on my salad. I'm from Buffalo and grew up on the best blue cheese witth my ings. We would dip our pizza in it.

  • I haven't tried apple cider vinegar, mct oil or mustard on P2 yet.. maybe I will next week.. Thanks for the receipe

  • @Yoliechula - All you can do is try - I know coconut has the same benefits as MCT I just haven't use it myself. The only coconut oil I have is the kind that needs to melted. I bought that when I made chocolate delight but that was the only time.

    Let me know how it works for you, I am very curious now!.

  • @chiquitababy5 -The combo of the MCT and ACV seems to be helpful for a lot of people. That might help with the stall. What I did realize after yesterday if I'm going to have the salad and MCT I shouldn't have it too late into the evening and I need to be sure to eat my other protocol food prior to the salad at dinner. If I don't I think my body figures it better hold on to what I have consumed. And yes I know that is a lot of lettuce but all week I had good releases but never ate it later than 6

  • sounds good, I do a similiar version but I use garlic powder instead of minced and splenda to take away the bitter from ACV.

    I think I stumbled across something about why it works and what would make it "not". Yesterday was the only day that I basically forgot to eat and around 7 p.m. figured I should have something so I made my salad then after that had my P2 friendly baked apple. I think because I didn't eat all day till then 2 things happened. 1 too much roughage that my body didn't have time to digest and "rid' of the roughage and 2 my body thought it better hold on to what I finally gave it = no loss

  • Do u eat the whole bowl salad like at once?I had tryed it with the ACV salt n pepper with lettuce But I'm a mustard girl so I may use that twist next time.I don't have the mct oil so I may just do without.Glad to have u back on.I also had a cheat gained 1lbs.Still stallin.Any idea on how to break this stall?I havnt lost any weight this rd.I will b mix'n a new batch.
