i dont take marijuana and have no desire too, however if anybody wants to its their business and they should not be penalized for doing so.
Its actually all about money, and has nothing to do whatso ever with the effects on humans, normal tobacco and alchohol is far far worse than cannabis and is far more addictive, yet that is availlable everyone - its all about money.and controlling the market.

Us as humans all have our own power to make our own decisions, whether you choose to drink, smoke, or anything else. The fact that there are other's that move on to harder drugs is simply there OWN choice, everyone is different, you can't generalize your statistics on that minority percentage that continues on to harder drugs. Hey alcohol is legal and man made, plus studies have shown countless times that it is a lot worse for your body overall, and yet a naturally growing flower is illegal? :s

Fuck Harper and FUCK USA mind ur own biz. We need liberals back
The gateway theory IS utter nonsense. The only possible way to suggest that using cannabis leads to anything else is due to prohibition itself, since to get cannabis now requires that one visit an illegal drug dealer. A dealer who likely sells OTHER drugs. Once you've surmounted the initial hurdle of the risk of visiting an illegal drug dealer (and potentially being ignorant of the vast disparity between cannabis and the other items he's selling) it's easy to see one might be tempted.
