This is the Koshiki no Kata, performed by Mas Blonk, and Richard de Bijl

Koshiki no Kata (古式の形:こしきのかた, Koshiki no Kata) is a kata (a set of prearranged techniques) in Judo.

It is also known as Kito-ryu no Kata. It consists of 21 techniques originally belonging to the Kito School of jujutsu. Jigoro Kano revised the techniques and incorporated them into a kata in order to preserve the historical source of judo.

  • why is everyone sitting behind them?

And what's up with the music? Has it been mastered in or is this played during the kata?

  • that may be a judo version of some kito moves but real kito is fliud, like aikido oon the the ground, and thus its throws resembles its sister art of daito ryu

this is not good at all.
