@Francescaalejandro as you say we are supposed to be a constitutional republic,but lawyers and bankers have used intellectual dishonesty by twisting common use language and giving it a second legal definition to confuse and distort law through the United States codes,to usurp the constitution and create a form of involuntary servitude, by if you will....voluntary compliance and most Americans are ignorant of this fact...

The "activity" in question is the receipt of the income and the amount of the income determines the amount of the tax paid.
Your example makes no sense at all.

You missed the point again. The income tax is NOT a tax on property, that would be a direct tax. In this case Conner claimed that his income WAS property and the court ruled against him.
You posted I was wrong, but you have no clue what I was saying, it had nothing to do with property or the Supreme Court.
