Five short videos of a particularly muddy and slippery area for stilt-walking. The first one was done in the half light of dawn where visibility was poor. The first 2 are of a narrow suspension bridge where the bridge moves under your feet as you walk, making stilting a little precarious. The decking is wooden which this morning is damp and very slippery. I had to be prepared to hold onto the suspension wires to prevent my pitching over the bridge into the deep river 50 feet below. The 3rd piece is of a very steep rocky path made slippery with wet rotting leaves. The last time I tried this hill I fell just going up it and the time before snow and patchy ice made it almost impossible to stilt on. I went up the hill to the point where I fell last time. Beyond that point looked too dangerous to attempt, being smooth, wet, sloping rocky steps. Turning round was also difficult and I very nearly fell as the stilts slid away from me. The final 2 videos are of the alternative path to the steep one, where although not as steep, they were just as slippery and needed careful attention paid to them.
