Just got my Savage MkII shortened to 16.5" and threaded to accept my SWR Spectre Suppressor. I'm shooting CCI Subsonics as normal velocity 22s go supersonic in this 16.5" barrel. It's amazing how quite these things can be when you don't have action noise. Here is the same suppressor on my 5.5" spikes M16 upper, using std. velocity ammo.

  • whats the range on the rounds that you were putting through the barrel?

  • what bipod do you got on that??

  • Ahahah, The Cycling of the Bolt is louder the Suppressor. Gotta love it.

  • Great video, this is one of the better examples of how a suppressor really sounds... so many cameras out there clamp the audio so it's impossible to tell how quiet it really was.

  • sweet man! that rifle looks BA. i made a video with cci cb shorts and a suppressor and i was really surprised with how quiet it was out of my 21" mkll. on the video its inside and all you could hear was the impact but outside shooting at 50 yards or so you hear the firing pin and then the impact. i was amazed to hear the firing pin and not the report from the round going off.

  • my home made one is quieter, without shortening the barrel or even threading

and its a savage mkII btv

  • Man I want one of these so bad!!! Check out my Spectre vids.
