1956 cadillac | Hot rod Rat rod 365 Engine White lightblue Car Interior Sound 50s

This i my 1956 cadillac my dad bought in 1986, from memphis. It was in the garage in 20years until he gave it to me on my 15th birthday. I started working on it in 2006.
I gave the engine compartment/engine a cosmetic resteration and replaced the entire brake system. The engine is a orginal 365 and the transmission is a hydra-matic. It has the original exhaust system from 1956 and brand new white wal tires.

56 Cad. Such a perfect example of automotive art. While I also love most Cadillacs of the decade and beyond, the 56 is my favorite. There are so few left and they are so artistically and culturally important that the discussions here about environmental concerns are very misplaced. It's a 56 Cadillac for goodness sake, it does not get any better than that. One airliner taking off once pollutes more than every rare classic on the road does in a whole year. Fire trucks get 1-2 MPG.

Btw, so far i have crushed 11 drivable classic cars, 9 of wich were americans!!

(one was even quite rare, but i cant remember its name...)
