Nice version, I absolutely agree, Lauryn Hill didn't make this song any better. I desperately seek for a version where there is absolutely NO soul in it. I heard it being performed by acoustic guitar players in a real jamming way, lot faster that the original and now its driving me nuts that I can't find a recording. Does ANYBODY know if ANYONE has recorded this song in a soul-free, female-voice-free version?

They want to try and cover redemption song, and play turn your lights down low but they want to keep songs like "want more" and "babylon system" on the hush hush... because that would be waking up the masses more.

I think it's funny that there are covers for this song all over youtube, and most of them credit Lauryn Hill as an artist for the song. This is a Bob Marley song. Thats whom you would credit when doing a cover of this song. I love this song.
