@skillz2880 sorry but I dont think this will work on anybody who is a decent blue belt and up. relies too much on your opponent not capitalizing on obvious opportunity to pull out or pass guard while you are switching the legs.
the armed cranked back doesnt mean anything until he switches his legs to crank it. he has no base to crank the armlock
He gives the man on top a beautiful opportunity for an armbar. As he gives up side control all the man on top needs to do is step over the shoulder and pinch his knees. Bam, armbar'd. Think Hughes vs. GSP 1 or even Carlos Newton did it against a japanese fighter.

No never really works , best if your opponent rolls to get out of the kimura, then you can transisition to the armbar.
A decent grappler would not allow.
