The Gary Steelers Pop Warner Cheer Team won the local competition held at Valparaiso high school. The team demonstrated intricate choreography and precision to win the prize. The squad dazzled the competition, fans and judges with their syncopated movements and nuanced execution.
This team hopes to move on to the championships in Orlando Florida if they do an equal or better performance at regionals (Dekalb, Illinois).

whhen we played the gary steelers we beat them 51-43 it was the highest scoring pop warner game in the history of pop warner good game gary.

My oldest sons team (tri town raiders midgets) played and lost to the Gary Steelers this last weekend, both teams played strong and demonstrated excellent sportsmanship. We are rooting for both of your Midget teams (cheer & football) to make it all the way!
