@TrueHealth27 I think the idea is that because the nature of God is different than us, incomprehensible, and unknowable to us, any image we create in our minds will not be adequate. We should instead focus on the qualities and attributes of God which we can know through the teachings of Baha'u'llah and other Manifestations of God, who in a sense "manifest" or show forth the qualities and attributes of God, such as kindness, justice and wisdom.
-
4 of TrueHealth27 is correct in one sense, that it is not possible to know God directly, but in accordance with Baha'i teachings God has made knowledge of His manifestation to be considered the same as knowledge of His own Self.
This, however, includes the knowledge that though they are the vessels of God's revelation, and the Manifestations of His Will on earth, they are not to be identified with that unknowable essence, that invisible reality, that is the reality of God.

The problem with personification is one that faiths have struggled with for centuries. Our knowledge of God comes from His Manifestations, Personages who represent God on earth. The fact is that human understanding can never grasp the reality of God, we simply do not have a frame of reference or a means of defining that, because such definition is in itself a limitation.
-
You see, English doesn't have gender-neutral pronouns for things like "He" and "His", though in Arabic there are.
In English, when the language is ambiguous, the standard rules of grammar dictate that someone of unspecified gender is referred to with male pronouns.

In one very real sense, no description can ever be accurate in describing God, because descriptions are limited things and God is not limited. He is immeasurably exalted above our understanding, and much more so above such minor human things as gender.
Regarding gender, "Him" in many senses may be a description of Baha'u'llah Himself, but in other instances it is a trick of the English language.
