  • Vanu - youtube doesn't allow enough space for what else I wanted to refer you to. Mayall has another release of recent years called "Palace of the King", which is really good too. It's like, a blues/jazz combo of music, and really great! regards, starchildstrider

  • Vanu - You can hear "Put It Right Back" performed by John Mayall & Billy Gibbons (of ZZ Top). I couldn't find one with a live video, just this studio version, which is straight off the album. Just type in YouTube's search box this: Mayall, Gibbons, Put It Right Back

Then, click on the second one down (you'll see a picture of Gibbons with a long yellow beard); and enjoy!

  • One more thing, Vanu - I discovered old AND new John Mayall C.D.s at two different libraries in my area! If you can access a library easily, just go there and see if they have his music in stock - check the library's database, cause they might actually own it, but it's checked out when you visit. Cause when I checked, some of his stuff was checked out, so I had to go back a week later to get it. That way, you can decide if you wanna buy it or not; but you'll want it, I'm sure - it's great music

  • I know, Vanu; Mayall is one of those really great musicians & composers that has always deservedly had a following; but it's like he's got to be introduced to each new generation that comes up because he's not in the "spotlight" getting a lot of air play. He was in the foreground in the 60's, when I was barely a teenager; and my older sister actually bought his first albums; and I immediately cued into his music & have followed him since. Today, you gotta stumble upon him to discover him.

  • @starchildstrider Tks 4 the info...gonna look right in to it!!!

    Vanu.
