English (per italiano leggi sotto)

We had some fun making these clips, they are not intended as instructional videos or specific to a particular martial art.
You can notice influence of styles like silat and kung fu. If you are interested in learning some techniques our advice is to study and practice hard the styles you like the most.

We'd like to thank our Masters in particular Maul Mornie of the Silat Suffian Bela Diri, a beautiful and very effective art. If you would like to learn traditional Silat you'd better go straight to the source, and Maul Mornie is the man to contact, watch his Youtube channel and judge for yourself ;)

Marco would also like to thank Master Marco Guarneri, founder of Lao Long Dao. If you would like to learn Vietnamese Kung Fu please contact SuTo Marco Guarneri, he's definitely one of the best Masters you can find.

  • For low light or indoor, I'd much rather have a tactical flashlight because of the added advantage of irritating the eyes. For full daylight or low light, I'd rather have the ASP pepper/kubotan, again, to irritate the eyes too. Knives? Did you know the majority of people stabbed/cut in a fight don't know it until the fight ends? It's true. A crush force of a kubotan is known IMMEDIATELY. I want the fastest affect to end the fight, not the most deadly.

  • kubotan and tactical flashlight. Like a boss

  • @CapitanFiro hahah :)

  • this is a fantastic video with the fun "what went wrong" element at the end. I teach in the UK utilising the tactical light, interestingly by calling it tactical it immediately breaks the law....much better to use the term flashlight or torch. It does exactly what the kubotan does, its legal (no UK torch carry law as yet) and you have the added benefit of 300 lumes in the eye first to give you the split second to make your self defence response. Good stuff.

  • 2:19 wow nice combo

  • Plus, remember, it'll be a lot easier to explain to the cops doing a routine search why you have a flashlight on you compared to a knife. If you do get into a fight and had to resort to the flashlight as a weapon, it'll be easier to justify it as something you just happen to have, rather than as a dedicated weapon. Not a problem in some countries, but a big problem in some like the UK.

  • @h4s4t4n you can stick to your knives, but the idea isn't to slash someones flesh open and kill them. a kubaton is designed to be a non-lethal weapon that focuses all of your force into a small area causing excruciating pain without having blood on your hands so to speak

  • @h4s4t4n knives are for sure a better weapon, nobody would prefer a kubotan if he has the opportunity to use a knife BUT in most countries is not legal to go around with knives.

  • I will stick to my knives.

  • @karmendcastro hahaha cool comment ok good to know
