2008 Lancer How To: Dash + Radio Removal

hey when i undid the three screws and took outthe part about the air bags the ribbon poped out, so then i took it out completley, how do i get it back in, cause now the red head unit wont light up! help please:(!

@doubleZeeZ it should slip back in. I havent removed mine in a while. There might be 2 plastic tabs either side of the connection point that might need to go up so the ribbon can slip in, then you can push the clips back down to lock it in

hey how do you remove the a/c panel off???and will the evo carbon fiber a/c panel fit into my 2010 lancer?

@Frostyy100 The AC pannel is a massive pain in the ass to remove, gotta completly remove the center console around the park brake and gear selctor, remove the side kick pannels on the center console, theres a few screws on each side, from memory aswell, you do have to remove the silver dash trim aswell. Rather hard to explain like this but it is a massive pain to do. Also, the CF panel that I think you are talking about is just a cover, its not the entire AC control box thing

I have a 2010 lancer and I want to install a sub, it looks exactly the same as the 2008, but how did YOU learn how to do this? Like where can I find documentation or something. xD
