  • what is a souffle pen ?

  • It's a pen that dries almost like tippex, but goes on like a normal gel pen. The first time I used one I thought it wasn't ever going to show white so I kept going over and over it - then it dried and I realised I'd put WAY too much on :-)

You can buy them from your local craft shop and they are made by Sakura. Wendy x

  • this is not only an exceptionally beautiful and clever design, the way you have managed your limited resources, like how you have cut the card stock to make it go further is very impressive. Thank you for sharing, I learnt a lot.

  • @lexmar9798 I believe it was the black pigment ink by Ink It Up. But any black pigment ink would do the same job, as long as it can be resisted by the wax crayon (i.e. not solvent ink). Hope this helps! =)

  • @whimsicalwendy

Thanks! i found a store that has this folder :)

just another question. after you used the pink crayon you painted the card. what paint or ink is it? like i know its black but what is the company that makes it?

    thanks.

  • @lexmar9798 The folder is the 'Cuttlebug A2 Embossing Folder Floral Fantasy'. I bought it years ago so I don't remember where from, but if you do a quick google search you should be able to find stockists.

  • Excellent ! i loove how the card came out.

Just wondering though where did you get the embossing folder at? whats the folder type called?

  • so nice but hard to do thats why it special

  • @krzybutterfly I personally like the Swiss Dots and Seeing Spots folders - they're good for pretty much any background from formal to fun, but there are loads out there you might like better. Check out provocraft . com (without the spaces) for all their stock in the Cuttlebug Embossing section. The die cut you're referring to is the "die 2x2 sliders" also on their website under the Cuttlebug die section. Hope this helps =)

  • i have a cricut and i want to buy a cuttle bug now just for the embossing behind my images on cards.. i want full prints.. what are some good embossing folders? and one other question.. your little pink and black circle that you slid ribbon through, is that a dye cut or whatever its called? and if so would you mind sharing which one .. i would love to purchase it :) Ty!!!

  • those are some fabulous techniques!! I love how you improvise (cutting that background paper to make it fit your space! Great video! Thanks!

  • you must love your craft. intense!
