@Coltftm5 black educational achievement was greatly celebrated back in those days. African Americans believed much like Douglass and Du Bois that education was the key to Black elevation not material wealth or the exploitation of the talents and abilities blacks.

Yesterday I received a rejection letter form a program I have been trying to get into, this movie helped me move on and I am going to use it to persevere. " We do what we have to do, in order to do what we want to do"
