these debate teams seem like a pretty big deal in this movie. football must have still been a white sport back then.

@Coltftm5 black educational achievement was greatly celebrated back in those days. African Americans believed much like Douglass and Du Bois that education was the key to Black elevation not material wealth or the exploitation of the talents and abilities blacks.

Why would you need to watch this movie in a forensics class?
