Joe&Demi: *get into the car and pull out of the driveway*
Demi: You're not taking me home, you know.
Joe: Please don't make us go through this again.
Demi: I'm just making sure that you're not gonna take me home.
Joe: Look, I won't take you home now, all right? I just...need to find a place where we can stop.
Demi: For what?
Joe: To talk. I don't exactly like talking in-depth when I'm driving.
Demi: Oh, okay then.

Soon...
Joe&Demi are sitting in a park, all by themselves at a picnic table.
Joe: Listen, I wanna talk to you about...you know, why I think it'd be best if you went home.
Demi: No, Joe...
Joe: Please, just hear me out.
Demi: Okay, fine.
Joe: Well, if I'm going out after David, I told you before, I want you safe. I mean, David already tried to take advantage of you once, who's to stop him from trying to do it again?
Demi: You...Joe. You stopped him, remember? And you also stopped "BAB" that one time too.
Joe: You mean BOB?
Demi: Yeah but his initials aren't right...*laughs*
Joe: *laughs too* I know but...I'm just afraid.
Demi: Of...?
Joe: Seeing you get hurt. The last two times I got lucky to show up when I did. I don't even know how I found you the first time but...if it happens again I just...I'm afraid it might be too late.
Demi: *reaches across the table and holds his hand* Joe, THINK about this for a second. What good is going David, if you're by yourself? I mean what would you do once you found him?
Joe: *let's go of her hand and looks away* Just...let him get me.
Demi: What? No. Joe--
Joe:Look. Maybe we gave this up. And...If he beats me up...maybe I deserve it.
Demi: Listen to me, Joe. You're NOT the bad guy here. It's David. All you've been doing is trying to protect yourself. I mean sure you got me involved in it, but...I don't care. The last thing you want to do is let yourself get beat up. It's pointless.
Joe: *lets go of her hand and rests his head in his hands* I really don't know what to do.
Demi: *kinda rubs the top of his head, comfortingly (?word?)* Hey...it's all right.
Joe: I mean...should I turn myself into the police then?
Demi: Of course not.
Joe: Then what do I do? We can't stay on the run forever.
Demi: We'll think of something. But as of now...I'm staying with you.
Joe: *smiles, walks over to her & takes a seat next to her*
Demi: *wraps her arms around him* It's amazing how all this has turned out....
Joe: *kisses her forehead* Yeah...it really is.
Demi: *smiles and looks down but notices something*
Joe: *notices Demi's expression* What is it?
Demi: Um...I think we better head back to the car...
Joe: Wait. What are you looking at? *looks out at the street across from them*
Demi: *starting to raise up, pulling Joe with her* Joe.
Joe: *finally sees it* How did they find us?!
Demi: Come on! *starts running away, holding onto his hand*
A truck turns off the street onto a road leading to the park, to them. It stops not too far away from Joe and Demi.
David: *opens the door of the truck* All right guys go get em! Sparky and I will follow them in here.
