Competitive Cyclist's review of Shimano Dura-Ace Wheels. Shimano makes, perhaps, the most underrated race wheels on the planet. Whether you're riding the 50mm tubular or the 1380g carbon clincher, the ride quality is perfectly balanced.

  • I love my C24s. The only downside I can think of is that by maximising the width of the spoke juncture, there's very little clearance to the chainstay. It's a problem for Garmin spoke magnets, which end up whacking against my (2009 Tarmac S-Works) chainstays - seek out the ultra-low-profile Shimano clip-on magnet instead.

  • crowie used c50's in Hawaii. Almost everyone else used Zipps. I'd go with dura ace anyday.

  • i dont understand so which wheel do u prefer, reynolds, zipp, mavic or shimano

  • Shimano WH7900 C75 Full Carbon or zipp 808 firecrest, (both tubulars)?
