We examine the tensions still dividing the Bosnian town of Brcko

NATO soldiers crunch over the gravel in the narrow buffer zone dividing Serbs, Muslims and Croats. Serbs claim Brcko unites their republic, while the Muslim-Croat Federation claims it as a gateway to Croatia and Europe. A Muslim area before the war, the town is now inhabited by a new Serbian population. A current housing boom aims to pack as many Serbs into the old Muslim neighbourhoods as possible. Muslims who dare to build on their side of the buffer zone suffer intimidation and bombing attacks. At great personal risk, a former officer from the Bosnian army visits the home he left before the war. As he crosses into Serbian controlled Brcko, he weeps with joy to see his home town again. A Serbian officer shows us his house - formerly owned by Muslims. He maintains that "the only way for there to be peace is for borders to be established". Lieutenant Colonel Cuculo of NATO confirms that, "Brcko is certainly a flashpoint". A disturbing report which reveals how Brcko threatens to undermine the Dayton Peace Accords.

If anyone was to blame for Bosnian War, it was the Serbs. Why Serbs chose war over diplomacy in 1992? When Muslims and Croats in Bosnia voted to be free from Yugoslavia, Serbs in Bosnia didn't like it so they attacked. This whole thing could have been avoided over diplomacy but Serbs chose war instead.

In 1995, U.S. and NATO warplanes bombed Bosnian Serb targets in response to the 2nd Markale massacre committed by Bosnian Serb forces. This air-campaign succeeded in ending the war.

@MladoCrnogorce uzmi pasos od RS pa sa njim idi do Hrvatske il u Njemacku il bilo gdje . Uskoro pada entitetski veto i Mulsimani su najbrojniji i mi cemo samo da odlucujemo u cijeloj bosni

@Vucijak86 usljo , ja sam ratovo protiv tvog babe i ostale familije a ti si picka ko sto ti je tatica i samo ti zvalje velike dijete. Gazili smo cetnike i trebalo nam je samo jos 3 mjeseca i srba u Bosni ne bi bilo . Al opet Bosna je muslimanska bila i ostat ce. A sta je to tvoje pa pogledaj kartu Evrope idiote. A ako si iz Brckog mi smo carsiju vratit mogli prve godine vec al nisu nam dali dok ne pobijede na zapadnim linijama .
