Ah, okay. I must be thinking of a different NSU or something, I don't know. I went to the Northwestern St. Demon Drumline day from '05 to '07, and I was just curious.

Ummm, I'm not hating or anything, but when did the drumline start going all-black? I know they aren't all black, but just a couple of years ago it was the opposite. Nothing racist intended, just purely curious. Anyways, this is amazing.

I have only known one white person to march on this drumline, and he's the third snare from the left in this video.

calypso: Their have been (2) other during our history. One was in the 80's when I was around. He played tenor drum & advanced to snare his last year. If memory serves, their was another during to 90's era, not sure on that however. The color barrier was broken many moons ago. Hopefully we will continue to influence other to come. Its a great line to be a part of no matter the color or gender. Just bring your best CHOPS when you come. FYI!!
