Nuzlocke RULES!:
1.Any Pokémon that faints is considered dead, and must be released.
2.The player may only catch the first Pokémon encountered in each area, and none else. If the first Pokémon encountered faints or flees, there are no second chances.
3.All pokemon must be nicknamed something awesome so if he dies, Haydunn gets sad.

As part of the nuzlocke challenge... If the egg hatches on a route where you already saw/caught a pokemon, would you be able to use the pokemon that hatched from the egg?

Also, I internally rage every time you pass up a pokemon on a route. I think you should get any pokemon you can, especially in nuzlocke. For two reasons, 1) it can act as death fodder and/or 2) it can act as an HM slave or something along those lines. :]

Towards your egg comment, theres two ways that are popular to go about it. the first way is you cant use the egg pokemon.

the second way (the way I use) is I count the egg towards the NEXT route. So if i hatched an egg on route 201 and didnt go to route 202 yet, Id count the egg as my catch for Route 202.
