Test details:
The Acura TSX was introduced in the 2004 model year. Beginning with 2005 models, changes were made to the side curtain and side torso airbags to improve occupant protection in side impact crashes.
Injury measures:
Driver — Measures taken from the dummy indicate that a fracture of the pelvis would be possible in a crash of this severity. The risk of significant injuries to other body regions is low.
Rear passenger — Measures taken from the dummy indicate a low risk of any significant injuries in a crash of this severity.
Head protection:
Driver — The dummy's head was protected from being hit by any hard structures, including the intruding barrier, by a side curtain airbag that deployed from the roof.
Rear passenger — The dummy's head was protected from being hit by any hard structures, including the intruding barrier, by a side curtain airbag that deployed from the roof.
its kinda sad that a nice acura gets an acceptabal.

actually you're wrong
in an accident similar to this, the driver and passenger would def survive, with minor injuries, a cracked rib at the most

the driver and the passenger sitting behind the driver would be pretty much dead in that crash.
The older gen of TSX were small, and the sides were less buffed. The newer TSX seemed to have fix these issues and also the side curtain airbags that you're talking about.
Little worried considering i own an 08 TSX :[

not the best for the side impact (only acceptable overall rating) glass for the driver and suckie driver dummy kinematics. and the rear of the side air curtain could have been bigger so that the rear passenger has more head protection. (he hit his head a bit on the c-pillar)
