Buckethead playing a medley of songs, including Beat It, the Main Street Electrical Parade, William Tell Overture, Pirate's Life for Me and the beginning of Hog Bitch Stomp. He also starts picking like crazy on an acoustic.

  • anyone know what brand and model that acoustic is? the fact its half the usual thickness of an acoustic might be a clue? any info appreciated

  • I wish buckethead had worked with MJ!

  • why would someone dislike this?! why!?!?!?

  • @EpicVikingBattle Sometimes he plays with Pinchface and Del Ray Brewer I think, and also with Praxis.

I am sorry, it was a misunderstanding, but he does it very often, do you know what I think? He doesn't care about if it sounds good or not, because 90 % of the people on these concerts are drunk or don't appreciate his Music, or don't really listen to it. If he'd play in a serious concert, where the people sit on chairs, are quiet and watch him play, than he'd do something more structured I thin

Again, obviously I was talking about this individual performance. I am well aware that Buckethead has played with bands, I just wish he'd have a backing band live.

And I wasn't saying that I find it uninteresting when he plays fast, I was saying that he could have structured it a bit. Why don't you actually read my comment next time?

  • @EpicVikingBattle He plays in bands: Praxis, Deli Creeps, Cornbugs, Cobra Strike, El Stew, Thanatopsis, Shin Terai, Science Faxtion, Frankenstein Brothers, Gorgone, Guns N' Roses ahhh and some other artists like Viggo Mortensen etc... Don't know every band. Sure he almost never plays live with others, but that's how it is.

Also if you don't like what a virtuoso is doing than simply don't watch it, it's supposed to be fast and impressing.

  • @rdsnk82 Cool, thanks. The neck of the thing looked like a Takamine, so that's why.

  • @Jdrcsc2 Well, whaddya know? Turns out it's an Epiphone SST Classic. Cool.
