Just like a typical shift.

I love it. Taking calls from an 80 year old Alzheimers patient for her 103 year old mother. That had to be a true story. Nobody can make that kind of stuff up.

We do have respect for nurses. There are plenty of great nurses out there. But at least once a shift I have to deal with the c student cna's that got into nursing to get a better job than burger king. And know more about what's happening on their favorite reality show than they do the pt that fell 2 days prior and just now want to send them out. Because that lac over his eye didn't seem "that bad". I love calls that involve nurses that are prepared and know what's going on. Professionals

This isnt funny to Nurses who take their job seriously. I cant believe that anyone could be this stupid. I worked very hard to be a nurse. I work very hard at being a nurse and I know what I am doing. Please tell me that EMT's have some respect for nurses!

I like the fruit cup idea. I will be using that. The crosswords are getting old.

I went to nursing home for a transport to a doctor's office. The nurse told the dietician to take the vitals. He took the vitals off a machine. The vitals were low so I questioned him about it. He goes and gets the nurse who does the same thing. She told me the machine my not be working correctly and asked when I get in the ambulance if I would phone her with the vitals I got. Even though there was a blood pressure cuff there. She did not know how to take a bp. Pathetic.
LOL! Typical EMS BS. Great work!

most people are difficult to arouse at this time of the morning...especially if you're 103 years old LOL!
