I heard the original cassette, containing this song sung by Habib Jalib himself, summgled to India sometime in 1980. We listened to it a few hundred times. It changed the DNAs of many comrades and gave them strength.
We must be careful not to make your music only entertainment for the entertainment of upper middle class. There is successful struggles going on in many parts by working class around us. Let us join them to bring the "Sahr" closer for all of them.
