New Holland TS115 with Machete boom mower (walkaround) 6-05-09

Yet another video for Lawnboy1010 or anyone else that likes lawn mowing equipment.

This tractor was seen at a park in the town of Bel Air, Maryland. This is a New Holland (I couldn't see the model number very well, but I think it's a TS115 or something similar). As you can see it has a boom or arm with a mower attached to it. This attachment appears to made by "Machete." I don't know anything else about this piece of equipment, other than it appears to be owned by the state of Maryland. I believe the "SG" on the license plate denotes "state government."

this tractor is rig with an alamo boom cutter with the machete flail cutting head attatched made for cutting tall like in the other comment where the bat wing cant reach or where roll over on slopes are more likely to happen we have a tractor on our farm with one of these with the axe cutter on it

I'm guessing that the bat wing mower is the one with the 2 folding sides?

Nice! I think the tractor's with boom mowers are used to mow in between the guardrail of anywhere a batwing mower can not reach

I've seen them on the sides of steep hills and like you said, next to guardrails.
