I agree with that comment. But as judicial analyst, I hate to break it to you, Afri. Americans and poor whit male (not females) get heavier sentances then their middle class white counterparts. And, by the way, out of 34% wrongful convictions 65% are of Afri. Americans.

yes, I was being really lop-sided, but if you listen to what he has to say, there does not seem to be a trace of any faith in God? The Puritan founders, the great revivals, people of great faith were great leaders in the US. I guess its more on a personal level, individual level, that this really means anything...

maybe he should read the Bible, because the US is going down, toward more sins, disasters. I don't know if Gladwell could face this kind of future. It also says in the Bible that God lets those He chooses understand Him, though intellectuals could not. It might be all the same for everyone: live a happy, successful life -but there comes a realization that sin seperates us from 'life'. Sin is more the problem -its not a question of morals, but rather the Savior's purpose.
