It's like someone talking about Classical Physics without knowing Mathematics!

@immortalmayhem425 I had to do that exact assignment. Everyone in my class was doing stuff like classical, folk and stuff from places like Spain or Turkey, and give a brief history report about it...lol. And there I am waiting to present while holding a poster that says "True Norwegian Black Metal" and has pictures of Taake, Darkthrone, Ulver, Windir, Mayhem, Burzum, Gorgoroth, Emperor, Immortal....
I think it was perfectly acceptable. I don't know what THEY thought, but I was ok with it :D

If anything, black metal has more emotion and touches a far deeper human aspect than most other musical genres, including death and thrash. I enjoy both, but the essence of black metal is undeniable.

haha i did that for a class called music appreciation. we had to do a kind of music from a different country. i did norwegian black metal. the class was shocked.
