@ryo2008 I agree. But its still fun to watch tony play for fun. He still moves gracefully regardless of where he is.

I just heard from one of my Indonesian friends who spoke to Gunawan personally after the recent Singapore Open that Tony Gunawan migrated to the USA really because his family were going to emigrate there. He personally expressed it was a difficult and emotional decision to leave the national team. Let's leave it to rest ryo2008. It wasn't about first team opportunities or monetary rewards to begin with. :)

Tony Gunawan was so strong before he went to USA, after that he just plays worse and worse ~ quite a shame to see these legends wasting their talents & time in a country doesn't even know how to spell b.a.d.m.i.n.t.o.n
