@mayari2008 That should not have been given ippon; the guy was not thrown onto his back perfectly - his shoulders were not even touching the ground. It was a good counter but not perfect - not ippon. I'd have given him wazari. This is an example of a fight that should have gone to newaza, rather than given an ippon by judges whose standards for ippon are lax.

@salvorhardim I've never seen it used in this setting, but I think Ure Nage has a similar technique

Looks like he countered with a left handed Ura-Nage. Great counter to Ippon.

you must not be seeing right; the georgian used perfect counter technique. he's in control. look who ends up on top. it's a perfect sutemiwaza.
