Mégane F1 R26 0-100 sprint

0-100 sprint with my Mégane F1 R26 2008

Optical:
-black rims, black logo's, black rear-windows
-R26 decals removed

Technical:
-Larger Forge intercooler
-Skytune exhaust without end-silencer
-Stage2 mapping Fastchip
- ~260bhp

All changes are made by the pre-owner
The R26 decals, original logo's etc will be replaced soon because I like the car original the most.

Rims will stay black ;-)

Yes, the F1 R26 (RS230) has a 6-speed standard. (All Mégane II RS have a 6speed).

The normal Mégane II RS' have xenon optional. The F1-team editions like the R25 and R26 don't have xenon and here in the Netherlands it wasn't an option.

The first owner let build in original xenon incl. sensor, automatic hight regulation etc. It cost about 2500,- euro.

I already found this press-item, but it doesn't tell us how it exactly works. Maybe a rev-limiter at full-throttle?

I'm going to search internal Renault-documents too find the real working of this Power Start.

What is the difference with ASR on or off? I ask that because R26 have option called "Power start", some kind of Launch control when ASR is turn ON...

I didn't now there was a 'Power start' function on the R26. I've searched for the official press document en yes there it is. But no information about how it works, can you tell me that?

On my Clio RS 182 (enjoyed it 3 years before this R26) I turned ESP/ASR off to prevent the system cutting down the engine power when sprinting. Thats why I did turn the systems off this time too.

If you've got more info, please let me know :-)

I found on some forum that Power Start works when put revs on 4000 for few seconds and then remove leg from clutch pedal...

Hi would someone be able to tell me of the Megane F1 230 is 6 speed and do they come with Xenon head lamps?
