  • Jose Pinera is absolutely brilliant and he is speaking the truth about Chiles current standards in every which way. Yes, you could talk all you want about the calculations, estimates, and approximations that some Chilean economists have come up with. However, on this piece Pinera is right.

  • Naomi Klein is an idiot.

Think of the millions of soft minds she's indoctrinated.

  • LOL, if a country legalized prostitution, trading of lethal drugs etc. they would reach the top of the economic "freedom" category quick!

  • One more attempt by Piñera to rewrite history

  • I am speechless. This is the most coherent, intelligent, and constructive interview I have ever watched. Everyone should watch the five parts. It may change the way you think about economics, politics, and the real world. Chapeau.

  • The only countries that have copied Pineras ideas regarding private pensions are countries in Eastern Europe and Latin America all at the brink of bankruptcy and forced to dump government debt and social programs as a condition to obtain future credits.

  • This man is definitely a con-artist, and not a very convincing one. This man would never debate a real economist or a person with knowledge of what happened in Chile and will only speak in front of pre-selected neo-con fans or spineless interviewers like the one shown on these videos.

  • The living standards in Chile have drastically improved but more importantly democracy has a constitution agreement that didn't exist in the 60s and 70s. This agreement and compatibility amongst political leaders has made the country make enormous strides that we enjoy today and other neighboring countries envy

  • "in Chile about 90% of population is in debt at an average of 6000 US dollars",

"Education was privatised, through a system of voucher, resulting in a farse, where real academia almost dissapears"

Can you give some details, please?
