With the multiple-award winning audio software Melodyne you can easily shift the formants of melodic, rhythmic or polyphonic material. This can alter the sonic characteristics of your audio -- from subtle changes to drastic mutilations. Shift the gender of a voice from male to female or vice versa, refine harmony vocals by slightly coloring their overtone structure, apply a formant shift to drum loops or guitar chords for unique sound design.

  • Melodyne is so awesome

  • Very informative. I was wondering how male to female would be properly executed. I was slightly off, but I understand it now.
