I know, right? What Owen is doing is VERY normal for a boy his age. Gender bending is quite common and developmentally normal. It has to do with an exploration of gender and what it means. Of course, many fathers (and father figures) respond the way Charlie does. Kind of a terrible double standard, because I'm sure if Owen were a girl who wanted to dress like a boy, nobody would have an issue.

wow look how were conditioned right from the beginning what to wear and what not to wear based on our sex. That's all it is.It's not like girls are born loving dresses and make up. It's not like there is some crazy gene that makes a boy dislike those things --wow nice explanation Charlie: "cause you just don't do that ". That's right owen "no no no I like it".Only when Owen gets older and starts caring what people think will he make sure he never wears make up b/c other children will make fun.
