I am sorry because you are sick. I hope you are well now.

@jamesjiao No, Li moved it there. He won't move it back.

Sorry that you were sick and had a bad day at work. I worked at a retail store before and
I understand how some customers could be. Hope you feel better and have a better day
at work tomorrow.

Maybe it's time to move the register to the other counter, Kandice. But again, they might decide to go to wait at the counter that is now devoid of any register.

New sign...If you are ready to check out, please step over to the register...actually, i can't believe people could be so dumb...or wait, yes i can imagine it. Nothing is a given in todays society. Consider wearing a small mobile register around your neck/waist like the bus drivers in China?! Too much texting while walking makes todays young ladies a bit, shall we say, bimbo-esque

@MargaritasAntesPorco American consumers are quite brainless. It makes me crazy.

Sorry to hear that you are sick and that you aren't getting any benefits. I have two degrees, one was in Media Arts and Science, and Computer Aided Drafting and right now there isn't many jobs where I live. As for the female consumers, I would find that a pain in the neck, and a bit weird. By the way, is this store you working at your own business? I heard you said that you are a small businesswoman.

@jweinrub It's my store. Either myself of my husband must work open to close every day, but not Christmas Day, Thanksgiving Day, or Easter Sunday. All the money we make is our pay. We don;t get sick pay, don;t get paid per hour, and can;t take a vacation. I also don't make enough money each hour to higher someone to work. If I higherd someone to work, I would loose money.

I don't know much about owning a business, but when you hire someone, you are paying them out of your own money, right?
jweinrub 1 month ago
@jweinrub Of course.
If you hire someone you must pay the minimum wage, which is about $8 per hour. In order to to that, I would need to at least make a profit (after cost) per hour at least 3X that. However, I just don't make that much money. Hours can pass and I can make $0.
Since my Mall has low traffic, I can;t get high sales, and I also must compete with corporate establishments which pay for advertizing, and brand names. I have neither.
