letter to Jill Phelps from Thom Bierdz / Phillip Chancellor III on Y&R

Jill Phelps,

You recently took over as Executive Producer for The Young And The Restless. This is my sincere video to introduce myself to you since I have played Phillip Chancellor III since 1986 to 2011. I do not have an agent and do not know another way to get to you, since I live in Lake Arrowhead making a living as a portrait artist. I have admired you bringing gay romances to other soap operas in the past and this is a plea for you to do that magic also on The Young And The Restless with me acting as Phillip. Young & Restless has had 20,000 straight kisses but not one gay kiss. Facebook friends tell me you are going to focus on the 4 core families and since I am the only gay member of the 4 core families I wanted to introduce myself. I so look forward to seeing your stories unfold and hope I am part of that. Please watch these 3 minutes. :)

I wish they would bring the character back for real. That 2009 return was awful just from the standpoint they rarely even had him on. It was still all about Cain. ????

Thom I applaud you're effort as crazy as it was. It took some ballz. You make a very good point. CBS & Y&R are ultra conservative in some of their ways. I always thought Devon or Noah might turn out to be gay but the writers chickened out. Billy's old classmate, Raffe, the lawyer is supposed to be on this show too but they just faded him away somewhere. It's ridiculous how the representation just isn't there.

It seemed like a few months ago with the Noah character there was speculation they were going to make him gay BUT the writers did not go in that direction. I think Y&R is a very conservative show there should be gay characters on that show. All the other soaps have gay characters Bold and Beautiful, Days of Our Lives, even General Hospital.

Days of Our Lives is currently the only American soap with a gay storyline going on at the moment it seems to be doing well in the ratings.

If Thom has an agent why can't the agent find him work he's healthy, attractive, a good actor I am surprised Thom hasn't found any work? Does Thom need to be on a soap? There are so many television shows he can be on such as Law and Order or Person of Interest, or The New Normal ect.

Hi Thom (fan here), I'm glad to see you expressing an interest in returning and reaching out to the show, but no offense but you laid it on just a little thick with the singing, just let them know you're interested in coming back
