Blog 43 - Tensions and Needling

Gabi and I have at this point spent 24 hours a day, 7 days a week together for months and it's beginning to show. I go to work, Gabi has a 'fun' day at home and things couldn't get much more depressing. In this blog you also see one of the main sources of our tensions - food and what to eat. What we once enjoyed eating has seemed to become dull and lifeless for us and I can no longer afford restaurants to overcome this.

Any estimate at all when the film might be completed? A month? Six months? A year?

Well I hope - a month. Realistically, 6 months. But the blogs are also delayed so when I do finish, the blogs will furiously be trying to play catch up! Seeing as I have never done anything on this scale before with such odds stacked against me and am continually facing unforeseen problems by dint of doing it alone, it really is hard for me to put a time on it - because how would I calculate that? Filming should have just taken 3 months!! That's what I had planned for. Whoops!!! :-)

i can say that i'm done that same song and dance EVERY single day of my 11 year relationship. it gets hard not to bounce you own head off the counter top!

For over a year, she has given Robert endless support while he looks like a caveman (which she hates), she has dedicated her whole life as of lately to helping Rob with his film and giving him moral support and despite this going on for much MUCH longer than planned, I'd say she is one cool woman.

If Gabi isn't a perfect example of how to be a great significant other is, then I don't know who is.

I guess what I'm really trying to say is... SHUT YOUR FUCKING MOUTH.

It's healthy for couples to grate against each other a little - especially when under such pressure as these two!

Didn't Gabi give up some work she had, earlier on in the blogs, so she could continue to help Rob? I'm searching for a job as well at the moment, and being unemployed at the moment is a seriously dire and helpless situation.

I recommend getting some pesto in...when in doubt, pasta veg and pesto will sort you out.
