This is a plank move which can be done several different ways; in this one I take the push up position (my knees are off the floor, my body in a straight line since my shorts cover my legs in the vid) and hold it -- you choose how long you hold, but 2 min is what I've seen as a the consensus of a "very strong" core. But it is up to you how you do it. The difference with the push up position is that the triceps and pectoral muscles get involved along with the core muscles.
