- SYNOPSIS -
Set against a sweeping canvas of rural England and Europe during the First World War, War Horse begins with the remarkable friendship between a horse named Joey and a young man called Albert, who tames and trains him. When they are forcefully parted, the film follows the extraordinary journey of the horse as he moves through the war, changing and inspiring the lives of all those he meets-British cavalry, German soldiers, and a French farmer and his granddaughter-before the story reaches its emotional climax in the heart of No Man's Land. The First World War is experienced through the journey of this horse-an odyssey of joy and sorrow, passionate friendship and high adventure. - Dreamworks (c)

  • Such a good movie!

  • I cried SO MUCH at this film, but I don't think in your review you emphasised how much war was in this film, as I think that is a huge selling point to more of the population.

I think its obvious you are not horsey, but one thing this film did was show the true value of a horse. and how individual they all are. yet, as always. brilliant review :)

  • i've not really heard much about this aside from the basics. thanks for the insight x ps you're looking nice after your youtubian break x

  • Yeah I saw it Tom and I too thought it was great, the ending was all orange like the classics, great cinematography

  • This movie is amazing and really makes you think about how it was out there not only for the people that were in the war but the horses at the end of the film it says something like 9million horses went into world war one and only 64,000 came out... this was a great review and i love how you explain the film but with no spoilers :3

  • your videos are so helpful, thanks!! Since I like horses I would love to go watch this movie. As you said, the trailer looked kinda cheesy so I'm glad it's actually not that bad.

  • I don't actualy like Spielberg's work much.

  • Sherlock Holmes 2 Next!!!
