I believe Bernard King will get into the HOF eventually. He truly was one of the elite players in the game during his prime. I only wish him and Ewing could've played together longer. They might've even made a real serious run at the title during the '89-'90 season (Ewing's best season statistically).

Ironic and sad that Bernard King tore up his knee on a defensive play. He doesn't make the hall of fame because he played defense, that's the NBA for ya!

How is he not in the HOF!!!

If Carmelo can be half the player for the Knicks that King was, New York will be in excellent shape...
As if you wouldn't select Bernard King at his peak in a NBA top 50 players list. I liked how in his back to back 50pt games he was a combined 40 of 51 from the field. These days guys take 30-40 shots in a game to score 50, they make less than half of them and people wet themselves over how "great" they are.

What a show. The NBA is a shadow of it's former self. Bernard King had my respect after that. As a Piston fan, it was perfectly fine losing to a player that great. Hall of Fame? No question.
