Here's a rather strange and snowy takeoff on a Brussels Airlines 737-300. We taxi really fast onto the runway, and I expect the pilots to keep it going into takeoff thrust. But instead we taxi all the way up to the landing zone (1000' down the runway) and hold there. Then after a bit we takeoff. You'll see it's snowing pretty hard and the wind is really blowing. The snow is horizontal. The flight was going to Frankfurt. OO-VEG
Noise ordinance perhaps? If yours was the first flight out, then they might have been waiting for takeoff curfew to lift. I know they do it in San Diego, let the first plane on the runway a minute early, then they go right at 0630.
