A japanese tune on an italian piano in an ethiopian hotel lobby. The name of this tune, played here by Makmed the Miller is 'Moon Over the Ruined Castle' . It is from the Meiji period and was originally written for voice only.
The Taitu Hotel in Addis is the oldest building from the italian era. Charming and a bit Decadent. Think of the Chelsea hotel in New York, olr the Adelphi in Liverpool.
