  • @dustmite31 Marijuana is a drug. The definition of a drug is either medicine, or a narcotic. Cannabis is a medicine. According to the Henningfield Ratings ranked after Dr. Jack E. Henningfield of the National Institute on Drug Abuse...they ranked the top 6 psychoactive drugs on the criteria of which is the most addictive. 1 being the most addicitve, while 6 being the least addictive. Have a good year :)

    1. Nicotine

    2. Heroin

    3. Cocaine

    4. Alcohol

    5. Caffeine

    6. Marijuana

  • This is not a great debate, Ron Paul would school both of these clowns. First of all, the Government employed cop is treating Marijuana as if it were just like alcohol and pain killers! Tell you what buddy, next time we both get headaches you take 25 tylenol pills and I will smoke 25 joints, lets see who wakes up the next day!

  • @Beatlesluvanumber9 like coke H or crack

  • weed should be legal anything else should be illegal

  • Listening to Paul Chabot physically hurts me. You can also see the black officer cringing as soon as that empty suit opens his mouth

  • @zekdom none of that has anything to do with my comment, which was purely an issue of your misuse of the terms narcotic, cannabis, marijuana, medicine, and drug.

  • @gobbly1337 Cannabis indica, cannabis ruderalis, and cannabis sativa are the botanical names for marijuana. Now, Opiates excrete from our adipose tissue at a rapid rate, which leads to rapid declines of plasma concentrations. In turn, rapid declines of plasma concentrations precipitates severe drug cravings. However, the cannabinoid metabolites excrete at a slow rate, which leads to a slow decline of plasma concentrations, which is why it's not as addictive compared to opiates.

  • @zekdom A narcotic is a drug that makes you sleepy, typically used to classify opiates such as morphine, hydrocodone, and heroin. It has nothing to do with it being a medicine or not. The distinction you want to make is between legal and illegal drugs. Marijuana is cannabis. Cannabis is simply a scientific classification which includes marijuana. If you have to redefine the language to make your point, it's probably a very weak point.

  • @mcnultyfrank Obviously, this is daily use, not use of one drug only one time. Really? The nicotine withdrawal profile is actually comparable to heroin, as listed above. Now, does that mean that tobacco is worse for you than heroin? No, but it can be just as addictive and cause just as many withdrawal syndromes as heroin can.
