Chevy Sonic: Claw Game promotion

Chevrolet took over Hollywood Boulevard last week, re-creating a giant-sized, 3D version of the old-school claw game in front of the famous Roosevelt Hotel.

Passers-by lined up for a chance to use a human-sized joystick to direct the claw- - which was projected onto the side of a building--to pick up an array of prizes including a $4,000 vacation, a Burton snowboard, and one for lucky person, a 2012 Chevy Sonic.

Chevy has been big on leveraging outdoor stunts; recently it created a social- media powered bungee jump, also to promote the Sonic.

@Firedog729 I drive a Chevy Sonic, the dealership offered a decent price on one after a gasket blew on the used car they sold me. Mine is the sedan version, not the hatchback version, but it's a pretty good car. You can't go wrong with 41mpg highway, especially if you have to drive a lot to of for your job like I do. They're selling them really cheap for the introductory year (around 15,000-16,000).
