It's not perfect, but she does FAR better than the average non-native speaking actor. Nice!

no es perfecto su español, pero es muy bueno, me gusta mucho, saludos desde argentina! :) waiting to see elena and ricky on broadway!!!

@BG54BG Her Spanish is flawless??? Are you kidding??? I would say it is pretty good for a non native but not flawless...
-
hey! consider even she is only trying to speak "neutral spanish", better avoid to ask her for Argentinian slang and accent! That would be simply "martian language". lol
-
yes, she is, at least in the first stanza, a truly delicacy to refer to the original language in which this story is based.
-
@MrRicofaso: Maybe it's Berlitz-Spanish but at least the girl tries. Pls. appreciate that!
-
is she singing in spanish?
-
i really love her please like my page about phantom of the opera in facebook

@BG54BG: She also said "solomente," instead of "solamente."
GREAT! Incredible! I love the switch from Spanish to English! Very different, and it works incredibly well!
(In terms of historical accuracy, Juan Peron had hair on his head... he wasn't bald. They should have put a toupe on him.

what i loved about this version is her and spanish and english are flawless. It drives me crazy to watch this unless eveyone is in sych with thier accents. I.E. Madonna with her MIch. accent, Banderas almost inaudible with that thick castillion crap accent his and jonathan Pryce singing "got the British out" with an English accent. Lved the movie but that drove me insane. Even the few Spanish words that Madonna sang in the movie had a thick American accent. .
