I used to be a stupid angry person. Then I sought how to be free from anger, fear, guilt, shame, pessimism and the like. Now no one can push my buttons any more.

So he´s a passionate, emotionless robot if you ask me. Anger, shame, guilt and so on are normal reactions when you do certain things. They tell you if what you´re doing is right or wrong. It´s totally normal to get angry, but it´s about being angry at the right moments and not getting angry about everything around you. THAT is control, not shutting down your emotions like this guy is saying.

I never implied that one should 'shut down' their emotions, only that they CAN gain control so that they have a CHOICE.

Sigh, yeah. I used to be real angry, still am, just not as much. I know what it is that causes my anger- stepdad, school, impossible people, and I always try to get out of it, but I'm too nice, I always come back. I need escape. Gotta keep trying. Thank you though, this video was very inspirational to me. =)
