Don't forget Priscilla was only 14 yrs. old a when she met Elvis. She was a child and she grew into a woman. She truly loved Elvis, and yes she knew what she was getting into when she married him. Love is blind for only so long.

@19GirlBad You are right about that, but Priscilla new what she was getting into. She new he wasn't faithful and he was "Elvis" and she married him anyway. So can't really feel sorry for someone that went into it with her eyes wide open. I don't blame her for finding love with someone else because I know I wouldn't live with a man that was seeing other females and I sure wouldn't have married a man that had to have more then one woman.

@mrajtonis Actually Elvis cheated Priscilla many times so she couldn't take the hurt. That's why she cheated Elvis back.

@19GirlBad From what I understand from interviews of Priscilla she explained the reason why she cheated on Elvis was because she need that male attention that Elvis wasn't giving her because he was never home. I don't believe she cheated because he was cheating if that was the case she would have been cheating on him from the start, Elvis always had more then one woman.

We can only speculate. Only Elvis and Priscilla "walked in those shoes." She met him as a child; probably had been with no other man when they married. Nothing could "prepare" her or anyone else for the "lifestyle." I'm specualting but think she truly loved him. I think she was the one woman who was "sacred" to him. He may have had fun with or even cared for other women; but Priscilla was his one true love.

This is such a beautiful song and for all of us who truly LOVED ELVIS. And because I TRULY LOVED ELVIS I will not hurt his child or grandchildren by saying anything against Priscilla she is who she is and she lives with what she did everyday I am sure so why bother .
