My first video for Terminator: Salvation. I wanted this vid to focus more on the sounds and ambience of the movie setting -and less on video effects, so you will see less editing here. What is there, are your smooth black fades, crossfades, and straight cuts to the scenes -simple and direct. Also, because this vid is more oriented on sound, it's the first of my videos to be presented with surround sound Dolby Digital software.
I really cut this video to a T, choosing where exactly to place the audio clips so that the dialogue would flow smoothly with the song. I actually made an mp3 of it and I listen to it now all the time on my Ipod in the car. I really liked the way it turned out, so if you guys want the mp3 download send me a messeage with your email..
The T4 story is very soulful and humanistic which is a little different than what we are used to seeing from the other movies -this new film is much more gritty and raw, so I wanted to reflect that sense of depth through the music and sound clips. The idea was inspired by an episode of Bones that I saw last month, not sure what title, but the song featured there just reminded me of this right away. It's different than the fast-action paced setting of the previous Terminator movies, but I think it goes really well with the T4 atmosphere. Thanks for watching, and let me know what you think by leaving a video comment and rating!
